For 14 years, Varvara Brill has been creating truly warm, beautifully planned events — from children’s parties and weddings to conferences, corporate events with over 100 guests, and tango gatherings.
In Barcelona, she has organized local milongas, "Festivallito Tango Weekend" and "Festivallito 2 Tango in Red" (over 100 people), and a large international festival with 200 guests. She has many more ideas and plans ahead. Her main goal is to make Barcelona the best place in the world for tango festivals and marathons.
"For me, tango is a journey into the unknown and the new. I love it for its improvisation: you never know what your partner’s next step will be, and there’s no point in guessing. Trusting your body, enjoying the unexpected, the thrill in the soul, the music that stirs the heart, elegantly dressed people, and the gallantry of men who invite you to dance and escort you back to your table — that’s what I love about tango. And for you, what is tango?"

Sebastián Achaval
With a deep connection to tango since the mid-1990s, Sebastián began his passionate journey at the age of 15 in a small city in central Argentina. In pursuit of mastery, he moved to vibrant Buenos Aires in 2001, immersing himself in the richness of tango and learning from the best local maestros.
His dedication, curiosity, and passion for dance bore fruit in 2005 when he was crowned Tango de Salón World Champion at the prestigious championship held annually in Buenos Aires. This victory launched his international career, allowing him to share his art across the globe.
From the evocative streets of Buenos Aires to stages in Japan, Singapore, Korea, and China, Achaval has left a lasting impression. He has also taught and performed in Australia, the USA, Central America, and throughout Europe.
Recognized at Europe’s most prestigious festivals, Achaval stands out for his traditional and elegant style. His approach not only preserves the classic essence of tango but also offers a fresh, modern perspective, solidifying his role as a global tango reference.
